Dominican Republic changes entry requirements

Due to a large rise in visitors the Dominican Republic has implemented a new electronic entry form.

All travelers entering or leaving the Dominican Republic must complete the electronic entry and exit form, which combines the forms of the International Boarding and Disembarkation Card, Customs Declaration and Traveler’s Health Affidavit. This will allow guests to have a quicker and easier time traveling thru the airports of the Dominican Republic.

Dominican Republic has upgraded internet access in all airports so you can access the two QR codes now needed to pass thru the airports. Travelers should obtain the QR codes at least 72 hours prior to travel and you may print those QR codes or save a screenshot to your phone.

These advances should greatly speed up the entire airport process and have you enjoying the gorgeous beaches even sooner.

The end of March arrivals in Punta Cana have returned to 2019, pre-

pandemic arrival numbers. April's number of traveler arrivals has broken records and many hotels are over 70% occupancy levels.
