Known as the Garden Island, Kauai is one of the lushest tropical destinations on the planet.
Rough jagged cliffs touch the sea on parts of the island and powered white sand beaches in other parts.
Waterfalls and waters ports are plentiful on the island of Kauai. Great adventures create great appetites.
Tidepools is a fine dining restaurant at Grand Hyatt Kauai.
It’s a stone octagon shaped thatched roof building with offshoots which allow for small intimate dining areas surrounded by sculptures, waterfalls and what seems to be endless wildlife.
Hundreds of large koi fish, ducks, and swans swim around you while you dine.
The menu created by Chef Charles Steppe, trained at the Culinary Institute of America offers a wide variety of options from meats, fresh local fish, and vegetarian.
Every course was just perfectly plated and tasted even better than it looked. Our hungry was quickly put to rest after an evening at Tidepools. Reservations are highly recommended as Tidepools sells out for months at time.
Can't wait for our next evening at Tidepools.
