I was honored to be chosen as a featured speaker on the Travel Institutes series
On the Road Again.
The series spotlights agents who have first hand travel experiences during the pandemic.
During my interview I spoke on my experience traveling to Cancun- Riveria Maya area
of Mexico. I was very fortunate to visit many resorts on this journey and was able to highlight two resorts that are unique and definitely doing a wonderful job keeping guests safe during the pandemic.
The initial resort where I shared my experience was The Fairmont Mayakoba.
This expansive oceanfront property features a PGA Golf course designed by Greg Norman. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful and provides ample space for social distancing. It offers villas with up to four bedrooms, most of which include private pools, and guests can use golf carts to navigate the property. The resort also boasts two main pools and several restaurants.
The second resort I had the opportunity to visit was the Palamaia House of AIA.
Palamaia House of AIA presents a distinctive approach in the all-inclusive sector. It focuses on holistic wellness and sustainability, with the chef providing exceptional vegan and non-vegan dishes throughout the resort. The spa, featuring a Cenote, offers private cabins for each service nestled in a lush tropical jungle. Daily activities include yoga, cocoa ceremonies, and sound bathing. Palamaia is genuinely a one-of-a-kind resort.
The Travel Institute is the global leader in travel industry education and certification field.
The Travel Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and advancing travel agents. The knowledge I gained as a Certified Travel Counselor has been invaluable to me and my guests.
It was truly a pleasure to share my experience and firsthand knowledge with other travel advisors, a group of passionate individuals dedicated to exploring the world and helping others do the same. The opportunity to engage with my peers in this way was not only fulfilling but also enriching, as we exchanged ideas, insights, and stories from our various journeys.
I was honored and humbled to have been chosen to speak at this gathering, where the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and camaraderie. Knowing that my experiences could contribute to the professional development of my fellow advisors made the occasion even more significant.
