We’re pleased to announce that the Grand Hyatt Kauaʻi Resort & Spa is open and fully operational, and the team is prepared to ensure your stay is relaxing, memorable, and filled with the spirit of aloha.
To make your visit as enjoyable and seamless as possible, we’ve outlined a selection of
current resort operations, indicating those that are open and those temporarily closed with
plans to reopen soon.
While recovery efforts continue across the island, we are encouraged by the progress and

OPEN RESORT OPERATIONS- KAUAI HURRICANE LOWELL
ANARA SPA
The Anara Spa lap pool is open to all guests, food and
beverage service is available poolside through September
26, 2026.All spa services and retail have resumed regular hours.
ILIMA TERRACE & HONOLULU COFFEE CO.
Breakfast and coffee services have resumed regular
service and hours.
KAUAʻI POKE
As of September 16, 2026, Kauaʻi Poke has resumed lunch
service.
SEA VIEW TERRACE
Regular service has resumed and Sea view Terrace will
feature Stevensonʻs sushi beginning September 27, 2026.
POIPU GOLF COURSE
All services have resumed regular hours
RESORT SHOPS & ACTIVITIES
Resort shops, and a variety of cultural and wellness
activities, will be available daily throughout the resort.
NEARBY SHOPPING VILLAGES
Nearby shopping villages with a selection of shops,
galleries and restaurants have resumed regular service
TEMPORARY CLOSED RESORT OPERATIONS/RE OPENING'S
POOLS
The adult pool, river pool, water slide, and action pool
are currently expected to reopen on September 27,
2026, with full poolside services resuming at that time.
SALTWATER LAGOON
The saltwater lagoon sustained significant damage and is
expected to remain closed for the next few months. A
reopening date has not yet been determined; however,
we anticipate repairs will be completed in advance of the
festive holiday season.
GRAND CLUB
Will resume regular hour and service October 1, 2026.
LUAU
Luau is temporarily not available. A reopening date has
not yet been determined.
TIDEPOOLS
Will resume regular hour and service September 27, 2026.
