We’re pleased to announce that the Grand Hyatt Kauaʻi Resort & Spa is open and fully operational. The team is prepared to ensure your stay is relaxing, memorable, and filled with the spirit of aloha.
Current Resort Operations
To make your visit as enjoyable and seamless as possible, we’ve outlined a selection of current resort operations. This includes those that are open and those temporarily closed with plans to reopen soon.
While recovery efforts continue across the island, we are encouraged by the progress. We are dedicated to providing the exceptional experience you expect. We appreciate your added mindfulness, kindness, and patience as residents and the island heal.

Open Resort Operations - Kauai Hurricane Lowell
Anara Spa
The Anara Spa lap pool is open to all guests. Food and beverage service is available poolside through September 26, 2026. All spa services and retail have resumed regular hours.
Ilima Terrace & Honolulu Coffee Co.
Breakfast and coffee services have resumed regular service and hours.
Kauaʻi Poke
As of September 16, 2026, Kauaʻi Poke has resumed lunch service.
Sea View Terrace
Regular service has resumed. Sea View Terrace will feature Stevensonʻs sushi beginning September 27, 2026.
Poipu Golf Course
All services have resumed regular hours.
Resort Shops & Activities
Resort shops and a variety of cultural and wellness activities will be available daily throughout the resort.
Nearby Shopping Villages
Nearby shopping villages with a selection of shops, galleries, and restaurants have resumed regular service.
Temporary Closed Resort Operations / Reopenings
Pools
The adult pool, river pool, water slide, and action pool are currently expected to reopen on September 27, 2026. Full poolside services will resume at that time.
Saltwater Lagoon
The saltwater lagoon sustained significant damage and is expected to remain closed for the next few months. A reopening date has not yet been determined; however, we anticipate repairs will be completed in advance of the festive holiday season.
Grand Club
Will resume regular hours and service on October 1, 2026.
Luau
The Luau is temporarily not available. A reopening date has not yet been determined.
Tidepools
Will resume regular hours and service on September 27, 2026.
